Claudia Huenchuleo Paquien (She/Her) is a transdisciplinary artist born in Chile and based in San Francisco, California.

Through photography, sculpture, and installation, her research-based practice reflects on ethical-political concerns and conditions derived from geopolitics that shape the experience of contemporary indigeneity. Drawing from the exploration of memory, culture and race, Huenchuleo interrogates diasporic experience linked to her Mapuche heritage.

Huenchuleo graduated as a Psychologist from Universidad de Concepción, Chile in 1995, received a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Visual Arts from UC Berkeley Extension in 2017, and an MFA from San Francisco State University in 2022.
