Claudia Huenchuleo Paquien is a Chilean born artist based in San Francisco, California.

Her current research focuses on hybrid identities based on the exploration of memory and culture, race and body linked to her Indigenous Mapuche heritage. She uses a multidisciplinary approach including collage, photography, installation and performance art.

Huenchuleo graduated from the University of Concepción, Chile, as a Psychologist, and worked for many years promoting advocacy among marginalized communities and women’s grassroots organizations.

She completed a Post Baccalaureate in Visual Arts at UC Berkeley Extension in 2017, and is currently a MFA candidate at San Francisco State University. Full CV
