Silenced, 2017

Claudia Huenchuleo Paquien is a Chilean born artist based in San Francisco, California.

Her current research focuses on the exploration of memory, culture and race linked to her Indigenous Mapuche heritage. She uses a multidisciplinary approach including collage, photography, and installation.

Huenchuleo graduated from the University of Concepción, Chile, as a Psychologist, and worked for many years promoting advocacy among marginalized communities and women’s grassroots organizations.

She completed a Post Baccalaureate in Visual Arts at UC Berkeley Extension in 2017, and is currently a MFA candidate at San Francisco State University.
